The book gives a brief history of Salt Lake City as well as what is like today (1961). THe stickers are in their proper places. The book shows very little wear but it does have a musty smell.

Clark, or another naturalist; another margin has a red-pencilled annotation indicating that plates 41-43 accompany H.L.
