Dust jacket; White with boxed out design by Margot Tomes, black and white text on spine and front panel, image of a crowned chicken on the spine, back panel lists the stories contained, includes stories by John Cleaver, Saul Bellow, William Faulkner, Jean Stafford, John Steinbeck among others. Not price clipped, now protected in Brodart. Condition: Book; Near fine. Bright and clean and appears unread. No marks or dirt except for a small smudge on the back panel, the lettering is bright and the spine is not creased, the bottom points are dinged, however, but very presentable. Dust jacket; Very good. Bright panels and spine with little sunning, the top and bottom of the spine are chipped but not enough to affect any lettering or elements of design, points are chipped and the panel hinges are soft but holding. The back panel as check marks in pencil next to the first four names. Not price clipped. Now protected in Brodart.
