About the Author:
Nicholas Crowder began his Ecuadorian experiences more than 25 years ago after studying at the American Graduate School of International Management. Selling automotive and industrial parts throughout Ecuador in the early 1980s and marrying an Ecuadorian, provided him an insight into the culture not seen by most outsiders. He was enthralled with the beauty and diversity of the country and this has led to a long-term observation and study of Ecuador. His love both for Ecuador and Latin America was the genesis for his ever expanding website of over 10,000 links about Latin America (http://www.latinamericalinks.com). He is also the editor of Spanish Word of the Day (http://www.spanishwordoftheday.com). In 2006, his new site about culture and travel around the world was launched at http://www.dragomanchronicles.com.
