In this collection of charming poems, local editor Ann Peters tells the stories of her wondrous, carefree childhood in Singapore from a child's point of view. The characters in Ann's rhyming verses embody the spirit of the people and places that the author grew up among, and which she wishes to share with the children of today.

About the Author:
Ann Peters is a Singaporean editor who has worked for many years in Asia's mainstream print media. Her fond recollections of growing up carefree in the Farrer Park neighbourhood inspired these rhyming vignettes, which are evocative of the people and places during her childhood. Ann has two grown-up children.
Review:
With its whimsical illustrations of round-faced children longkang-fishing and playing marbles, and soothing palette of greens and taupe, Farrer Park is a treat to leaf through. --Clara Chow, The Sunday Times

Through these playful poems, the people, places and childhood activities are given a colourful rendering, a reminder that while history is a thing of the past, remembrance is always new and immediate. --O Thiam Chin, Popclub Magazine
