Kunz developed the desire to teach nurses over 30 years ago when she was an ICU nurse at Staten Island Hospital (now called SI University Hosptial). It was at SIH that Kunz realized that she could learn how to be a better nurse by teaching the other nurses. Kunz hasn't stopped teaching since then. Kunz is now the Critical Care Educator at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY. She is also the Director of Education at Dickson Keanaghan, LLC, a company that she helped create, where Michele and Joe train and certify the medical staff of over 600 hospitals, medical offices, and surgi-centers on Long Island, New York City, and Westchester.
