From the Author:
I wrote The Adventures of Pinky Whiskers and Sharp Nose at the age of 22. It is loosely based on stories I heard as a child while sitting on my grandmother's lap. The characters came from the imagination of her father. My 19 year old kid brother, Greg, provided hand drawn illustrations for the book and my wife Natalie produced the cover art. I self-published the book in a time when digital self-publishing tools were not available. I designed the cover, printed the pages and covers, and bound the books myself, using a professional binding machine that I took out a loan to purchase. While my approach to publishing was not the wisest financial decision, it is one I do not regret. My brother, Greg, passed away in 2012 at the age of 32 and I cherish the time we spent together collaborating on the book. While writing is not my day job and I will likely never get back out what I put into it, and while Greg was by no means a professional illustrator, I would love to share the story that brought me so much joy as a child with anyone who cares to read it. I am pleased to see part of my brother live on through the five simple hand drawn illustrations in the book.
