About the Author:

Anisa Makhoul is the daughter of a Lebanese beekeeper, and discovered a love for illustration early on.
After graduating from Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a degree in Printmaking, she launched her own clothing label. For 10 years she had her own shop in Portland, Oregon and received accolades from major publications like Lucky Magazine, Nylon, and Design Sponge, as well as designing for multiple celebrities.
She currently lives and makes her art in sunny Portland, Oregon. teNeues is lucky to have found her!
