Alphabet City Signs of New York postcard book - Softcover

Cynthia Maris Dantzic is the author of numerous books including the popular 100 New York Photographers, Antique Pocket Mirrors- Pictorial and Advertising Miniatures, two college level art texts, and a pair of children's books introducing the silent alphabet. A graduate of Yale's school of Art and Pratt Institute, she is a practicing artist and Senior Professor of Art at Long Island University in Brooklyn, where she was born. Dantzic is a member of PAI, the distinguished New York photographic society, on the boards of the Society of Scribes and the New York Society for General Semantics, and a Trustee of Park Slope's Civic Council, a Brooklyn neighborhood rich in history and alphabetic sign shops.
