Tired of cooking two meals a night, one for the family and one for her diabetic husband, Mary Jane Finsand adapted thousands of well-loved recipes for the needs of diabetics. These recipes are healthy, high in fiber, low in cholesterol and most importantly, delicious - this extraordinary compendium includes over 2000 of her greatest creations.
Each recipe is accompanied by the exchange list values from the American Diabetes Association and the American Dietetic Association, meticulously calculated to be accurate for the diabetic. Each listing also notes additional nutritional values - including calories, fat, carbohydrates, proteins, sodium, cholesterol - that can help anyone balance their diet.
