About the Author:
Robert and Robin Charlton retired early from their jobs at the age of 43 so they could travel the world and live life more fully. They live in Boulder, Colorado but spend much of the year traveling both in the U.S. and abroad. They prefer to travel slowly and on foot as much as possible, staying in a country for weeks or months at a time when they can. They keep a personal website documenting their travels at wherewebe.com.
Review:
"...Absolute gem of a book...What was most incredible to us, out of everything, is that they share their breakdown of income and savings for every single year that they worked, and show how they built up a net worth of nearly $1 million in about 15 years without ever making six figures...We can't recommend their book highly enough."

"The whole time I was reading it, I found myself finding more and more confidence in my own early retirement plans. We need more examples like the Charltons of how regular people like you and I can make our goal of financial freedom come true...The math is all there."

-- Investing to Thrive (Julie Rains, investingtothrive.com)
"They generously lay out all their numbers and go on to prove you don't have to be earning 6 figures to retire early...The fact that the Charltons are sharing their numbers and a practical system to enable us to forecast our numbers is a huge gift to the FIRE community and I'd say it's one of the MUST have books for FIRE proponents. They even share their compounding spreadsheet which is brilliant in its simplicity."

They tell you how much money they saved each year and what steps they took to get there...The beauty of their approach is that it is very simple and nothing technical or complicated. Everybody can do it!"
