FEATURING STORIES BY: -Chuck Borgia -James Rhodes -Todd Nelsen -Michael Lizarraga -Obsidian Mercutio Tesla -Sergio Palumbo and Michele Dutcher -John L. Campbell -Rob Bliss -Gavin Chappell -C Priest Brumley On 3 June 2012, Schlock! Webzine announced the TIMELESS WORLDS competition, open to all readers of the zine. This anthology is the result; the winning entries of the contest are published alongside the best stories of the previous few months. Inside you will find tales of other worlds, some beyond the stars, others a shadow's breadth away from our own: a horror writer whose ambition leads him to the ultimate horror; a story of love and replicants; intergalactic boxing champs; abuse and revenge; demonic justice; homelessness and hidden roads; dying planets; high class horror; worlds of hope and despair; and a noirish quest for justice in an alternative cyberspace. Welcome to TIMELESS WORLDS!

About the Author:
ABOUT THE AUTHORS Chuck Borgia is, in the words of his blog blogdeborgia.blogspot.co.uk, “a prophet in the principality of polished turds.” James Rhodes is author of The Hettford Witch Hunt. He is dyslexic and probably should have taken up basket weaving instead of writing. It is only due to the wicker blight and subsequent basket drought of the nineteen eighties that he finds himself persevering with it. Todd Nelsen is an avid fan of metal music and horror films. He currently lives in Denver, Colorado, where he reads, writes, and is constantly fantasizing. Michael Lizarraga has been a horror junkie since Jason first donned his hockey mask. He was born and raised in illustrious Los Angeles, immersed in monster books before he could read. Blame Rod Serling, Richard Matheson and George Romero for his weirdness. Obsidian M Tesla is but a shadow, a verso of another’s mind...a psychic imprint from another era long-gone, who seeks expression in this modern world through the medium of the printed word. The genre of fiction is his Ouija board and the hands of another are his own planchette... Sergio Palumbo is an Italian public servant, a law school graduate working in public real estate. He has been published in many international science fiction and fantasy magazines. Michele Dutcher of Old Louisville, Kentucky, aka Bottomdweller, kindly edited Sergio Palumbo’s story. She has a BS degree in Elementary Education with minors in theology & sociology and has been writing science fiction stories for a decade. John L. Campbell is the author of two full-length collections of short horror and suspense, In The Falling Light and Red Circus: A Dark Collection, as well as a novella of true-life horror, The Mangroves. Mr. Campbell lives in Connecticut with his family. Rob Bliss has a degree in English and Writing from York University (in the "Greater Toronto" area in Canada). Gavin Chappell was born in northern England and lives near Liverpool. After studying English at the University of Wales, he has since worked variously as a business analyst, a college lecturer and a teaching assistant. He is the author of Wirral Smugglers, Wreckers and Pirates and founding editor of Schlock! Webzine. C. Priest Brumley is a bipedal humanoid with an iron (ah, screw it: soft butter) will. His interest in writing came early, attempting to write his first book at the age of twelve.
