Stone-Barker's paper never stops rustling as she endlessly slices her collection of papers from all over the world to create her intricate illustrations. She has collaborated with Dianne de Las Casas on several books, including Mama's Bayou, Blue Frog: The Legend of Chocolate, The House That Witchy Built, and The Little "Read" Hen. She lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her husband and two children.
