Sally Marts is a freelance designer/illustrator. She began her career as an artist for a major department store,where she illustrated newspaper ads for many years. While designing for a large toy company, she discovered her joy creating for children. Since then, Sally has focused her career on the kid's market. She has illustrated books, educational materials, posters, fabrics, and designed toys and packaging. Sally works from her studio in Seattle, Washington.

It has now won two other prestigious awards. Robbins is also the author of the award-winning picture book, Care For Our World by Compendium. Robbins is a "Right brain creative" whose passion is creating books and toys for the young child; specializing in designing novelty and board books. She holds a U.S. patent for a line of novelty books, greeting cards and flash cards.  Robbins is also the author of Big Bulletin Boards: A Cooperative Approach by Good Year Books, and Year 'Round Holiday Crafts by Carson Dellosa.
