Review:
This book addresses the long overlooked topic of customer behavior in the hospitality industry. Geoff and Peter offer very practical approaches for creating a strong positive environment in the bar and for defusing volatile situations. I highly recommend that all owners, managers and those in personnel preparation, require their staff to be familiar with the topics in this book. --Zorah M Rose, Owner, Permium-Pour Bartending School, Eugene, Oregon.
This book nails it. I could teach a chimpanzee to pour a beer but I could never teach it to be a good bartender. I will require all my bartenders, present and future to read this book. --Mike McCreery, Owner, Peabody's Pub, 3rd Street, Eugene, Oregon
I have never seen anything written in such a friendly manner on this topic of dealing with customers. I plan to use it in my classes and make it prescribed reading for all my students. --Joe McCulley, CHE, Instructor, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, Lane Community College, Eugene, Oregon.
