About the Author:
Dr. Fiero, former Professor Geology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is a graduate of Dartmouth College and completed his graduate studies at the University of Wyoming and the University of Wisconsin. Bill has had a lifelong interest in natural history. He is highly respected for his geological research and for his teaching activities, which include an extensive commitment to the education of non-scientists interested in learning more about the natural world.
