David Rambo (born in 1955) is an American playwright, actor, and scriptwriter. He wrote GOD'S MAN IN TEXAS, one of the most produced plays in U.S. regional theatres. Rambo also adapted the classic screenplay, ADAM'S RIB by Garson Kanin and Ruth Gordon, for L.A. Theatre Works. He currently works as a writer for the television series CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION. The author of occasional arts essays and criticism for the Los Angeles Times, he lives in Los Angeles with partner Theodore Heyck, a lawyer. David is a member of the Dramatists Guild, ASCAP, and Writers Guild of America, West.
