About the Author:
Michael Bright is Director of Development at the BBC's world--renowned Natural History Unit. A graduate of the University of London, he joined the BBC in 1971. He was editor of the National History Unit's radio division for several years before moving to television for the series, Wildlife on One and The Natural World. He produced the environmental series nature and the children's drama Earthstars, and he established the Natural History Units commercial arm, Wildvision.
