About the Author:
A professor of art at Long Island University, Cynthia Maris Dantzic is a graduate of Yale University's School of Art and of New York's Pratt Institute. She has exhibited works in painting, drawing, calligraphy, and photo-collage, and has works in several museum collections. She lives in New York.
