In this classic study, Elliott Leyton challenges the conventional idea of serial murderers as deranged madmen. Elliott Leyton is currently Professor Emeritus at Memorial University in Newfoundland. He holds research and faculty appointments in Ireland and England and is a past president of the Canadian Sociology and Anthropology Association.
