"...a very useful book...of use to everyone working in general acute medicine and primary care. The incidence of cancer continues to rise, treatment options continue to diversify and, with a relatively static number of oncologists and palliative care physicians, hence the general physician and practitioner are going to be exposed to an increasing number of such emergencies. If we are to offer our patients prompt, effective and appropriate management of cancer-related emergencies, the lessons of this book should be understood by all."--
