About the Author:
About the authors John Mastrini is a former TV news anchor from the United States who arrived in Prague soon after the 1989 revolution and decided to stay. He has worked in Prague as a journalist, media consultant, and writer and is a co-author of Frommer's Europe from $50 a Day and Frommer's Europe. Alan Crosby has lived and worked as a journalist in Prague for the past 8 years. He is a co-author of Frommer's Europe. Special thanks to Hana Příhodová Mastrini, a native of Karlovy Vary who moved to Prague in 1987 and is a veteran of the 1989 Velvet Revolution, for her help in researching and writing the Prague material in this edition.
From Library Journal:
Frommer's coverage of Prague mirrors that of traditional guidebooks, with hotel and restaurant choices that will appeal to a wide variety of travelers, including hard to find recommendations of local tour operators. Coverage of the rest of the country only hits the highlights.
